Okay, the glitches the past few days are not due to the GoComics conversion, but to human error on my side. Here, without any compromising details, is how the strip gets published.
I produce each strip as an individual file, whose name is made up of a code identifying the strip and the date the strip is to run. I save the files, and my local server picks them up, resizes them to GoComics’ standards (I offer a larger version on my site: 1800px vs. 1200px across) and uploads them with the appropriate filenames to my site and to GoComics.
What happened here was that when I went to file today’s strip yesterday, I accidentally saved it with the date code for the 14th. GoComics’ system saw that as me wanting to replace the strip I’d already filed for the 14th instead of a strip for the 15th. So it pulled the Erotic Diaries of Sasha and substituted this strip. When I realized the mistake this morning I re-filed the correct strip for the 14th but saved the one for the 15th to the wrong directory so the server never picked it up. Late this afternoon I realized there was still a problem, so I re-filed today’s strip.
Sorry that this happened, but this one was all on me and not on GoComics.
