After I got my HD set I watched a baseball playoff game. Pitch was thrown, batter checked his swing, but the ump said he heard the ball hit the bat, and called it a strike. Replay in slow motion showed 2 things – the ball never hit the bat, and the ump blinked as the ball was crossing the plate and missing the bat. Even the commentators didn’t see that one.
