    I live in Oregon, the largest producer of cut christmas trees in the US.

    You should see the farms where they are grown.

    Some of the bigger farms even use helicopters to haul bundles of trees from the fields to where trucks are being loaded up.

    Christmas trees are planted and harvested for just that purpose, it is a sustainable crop. There are not forests clear-cut every year for Christmas trees.

    I don’t like the idea of killing a living tree then watching it’s decaying corpse rot for a few weeks to celebrate Christs birthday.
