I have a rescue dog named Toby. He came to me with that name, and I liked it so I didn’t change it. As I’ve gotten to know him over the last year I now wish I’d named him “Hoover” due to his ability to sniff out tiniest bit of what could be food found anywhere, indoors or out. One time he found a whole chicken leg laying on the ground and carried it in his mouth for half a block with his head down so I couldn’t see it. In his mind I suppose that was a real prize :-)
