Sneaky! :D!

My old dog would have had the bird for the reception. My current dog would never have even noticed the bird.

This reminds me of a funeral my cousins and I, had for a dead bird. It’s been over 47 years, but I will never forget the, ‘sermon,’ that my cousin gave. “Oh Lawd, give this bird some new wings, cause he’s flying to heaven!”

I didn’t know about that rule.

Maybe you should check around for the bird’s children, Sakura… they may need looking after.

When I was a kid, we had a dog who would bring us dead birds and was upset when we could not fix them! When she brought us a dead rattlesnake we decided enough was enough! LOL

But the bird isn’t blue!

Funeral/wake food in my family is really pretty good. As is the Red Eye.

The dumpster is the equivalent of direct cremation.

That wouldn’t be my dog. It ate two dead birds.
