    My old dog would have had the bird for the reception. My current dog would never have even noticed the bird.

    This reminds me of a funeral my cousins and I, had for a dead bird. It’s been over 47 years, but I will never forget the, ‘sermon,’ that my cousin gave. “Oh Lawd, give this bird some new wings, cause he’s flying to heaven!”

    When I was a kid, we had a dog who would bring us dead birds and was upset when we could not fix them! When she brought us a dead rattlesnake we decided enough was enough! LOL
