Monty is resting, he was dog tired.

Woof. Arf-arf. Woof, grr, woof-woof. Pant.

Monty is busy eating the steak the missing hiker bought him.

Monty remains aloof. The world needs more loofs.

Eh maybe Monty ain’t no rare talking doggie.

At least show his picture so we can see the good boy

Monty could not be reached for comment at the moment. His mouth is too full of peanut butter dog biscuits.

At least Monty is getting proper credit. Plus, as others have said, he probably got a pretty good treat. Beats an interview, I would think.

When I did the search & rescue thing I made a point of carrying a couple of large dog treats in my pocket…. just in case I ended up on the other side of the search effort 8^)

Maybe Monty is camera shy?

Too busy with his reward biscuit, and he is not sharing.

Dogs don’t think it’s a big deal. Though they love the fuss and attention when they find someone, It’s a game of hide and seek to them.

Their only dogish translator is on vacation

Because Monty is a good boy and he don’t need no stinking interview! But he would like a tummy rub and a scooby snack!
