Tom the Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling The Outer Reaches of Plot Twists Tonight's Episode: "Journey To The Center of Bitter, Bitter Irony" Host: Meet Dr. Donald R. Hotchkiss. Inventor, entrepreneur. Donald: Gentlemen, this machine will allow a man to travel into the black heart of the bitterest of ironic situations. Man: What possible purpose will that serve? Donald: It will make us all very rich. Donald: The bored wealthy will pay us to venture into their own spine-chillingly ironic plot twists! Donald: And I will test it first. ZAP Donald: UHN...what...? Everything is the same, except... Donald: ...you've all got waffle irons for heads! Donald: WHERE'S THE IRONY IN THAT??! Man: Um, maybe because you like waffles so much? Man #2: Yes, do you love waffles? Donald: No...I mean, I like them, but not enough for a world of waffle iron heads to be ironic. Man: Maybe it's IRONIC that your machine changed the world in a way that's bizarre, but not ironic. Man: Yes, your greedy plan to become rich by exploiting irony has been dashed. That's ironic. Donald: But that means the machine does indeed work. In which case there is no irony. Donald: That's a conundrum. Host: And thus begins the descent of Dr. Hotchkiss into...The Outer Reaches of Plot Twists! The End
