president chris christie, day 100 april 30, 2017 chris: the united states is stronger than ever. i was just in delaware, and i told the governor that he had a nice little state there. when i said it would be "a shame if anything bad happened to it," that was a statement of fact. it was not a threat, as a bunch of you poindexters in the press would have americans believe. and i want to say that i had no idea that some staffers determined the site of a nuclear test on the basis of who didn't vote for me in the presidential elections. my apologies to everyone in the chicago area, but the truth is, we have to test those things somewhere, so come on. quit your crying. i also want to say that what happened in hawaii is tragic, and my sympathy and best wishes go to all the people who live there. but the critics who say i didn't have the military defend hawaii from the north korean invasion as some kind of political payback - that's partisan and hurtful. anyway, it's just a bunch of islands... i was surprised it was a state, to be perfectly frank. i think we're going to save money on this thing. that's it. thank you, washington, dc press, for coming. oh, and john? you live in virginia? you're gonna want to take 14th street to 395. do not take the roosevelt bridge. i'm just saying.
