I’ve had that happen to me and I don’t wear long hair. Usually it was black men who thought for some reason myself who is of a generally pink nad white coloration with white hair was female starting in the 1990’s. The conclusion that I reached was that white women were dressing the way I do and some how my face does’t look fully male. This wouldn’t happen if we were in a nudist colony.
