The Dem candidate who most resembles Trump is Bernie Sanders, actually. That’s why there was such a huge overlap in their support base, but they would still have voted Trump in the end.

So when are you going after Buttigieg, who is actually a bit to the right of Biden?

He’s not among my top choices, but this is no time to try and divide Democrats or to insult Democratic candidates, any of whom would be infinitely preferable to the filth they will be running against in the general. Whoever wins the primary it’s imperative all sane people show up and vote for the Democratic candidate in the general, in numbers big enough to overcome all the GOP election shenanigans, so please don’t disparage our candidates and turn impressionable people against them lest you want 2016 history to repeat. Obama wasn’t as left-leaning as I would have preferred on many issues but he was honorable and did for the country what he thought was right, as would Biden. Each candidate has their strength — Biden’s experience would be valuable in putting all the broken pieces of government back together, since he knows where they’re all supposed to go. Everyone who cares about this country should pledge to vote for the Democrat whoever wins the primary. That said, I sure hope it’s Elizabeth Warren.

Biden is center-right. That’s why Obama picked him, so that right-wing white people would be comfortable voting Obama-Biden. Check Biden’s record, he is not a liberal, he is a corporate Dem.
