Sigh, I guess I’ll never be able to draw Doug.
Part 6, Doug dies from 8th strain of covid.
I feel sympathy for the barista who still hasn’t been discovered after a decade in that Hollywood Coffee Bean.
But how bad was the Doug movie? We talking Fant4stic bad, or Catwoman bad?
LaBouf is one of the biggest pieces of sh*te in Hollywoodland. If they have him playing Doug, you know poor Doug has hit rock bottom.
I like the reference to the “Ghost of James Caan” (“He’s not really dead, yet”) in the center panel!
I will say Doug is nothing if not persistent. Unfortunately that’s not necessarily a good thing.
It’s hard out there for a comic strip animal of indeterminate species and low Q.
Lesson: don’t quit your day job. :)
I had a very brief “career” in radio plays. It turns out to be very easy to do – provided you are willing to write, produce, direct and play one of the leads with an ensemble cast willing to work for free. :)
Doug’s tenacity is to be admired, even if his work is not.
Shia LaBeouf; why didn’t I think if him last week? But he’d probably be busy working on Transformers 12.
Went from part 1 a week ago to part 4. All part of the strip.
