To paraphrase the quote from Epicurus,

Is Godman willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him Godman?

Chew on that one, back alley killer! (until the coffee maker is sorted anyway)

It’s a shame he’s not omnipresent.

God-man works in mysterious ways. Mostly because he expects you to figure out what he meant yourself.

Not so omniscient now, are we, Big Guy?

For nothing, as usual.

Omnipotent and omnipresent, but so far superior to us we are unable to understand the great “I Am”. Is the ant crawling in the dirt able to understand why you chose to wear a blue shirt yesterday? Would it matter to him?

Of course, it would be useless for the ants to worship us.

God man works in mysterious ways. I’m impressed.

As good an explanation for God’s actions as any.

We have free will to choose between good and evil. It’s god’s plan. Or maybe it’s that god doesn’t give a, uh, hoot.

What stops a bad person from doing bad things? What stops a good person from slipping up and doing bad? Is it a guide in the sky? Fear of getting caught? Not wanting to hurt someone? the thought of eternal h3ll at the end of eighty years?

Absurd thinking results is absurd conclusions…

Most believers figure if God ignores their sin, it must not have been all that bad. So they claim to be forgiven and get right back to it.

That’s as good a reason as any.

Bolling should read more philosophical theology, assuming he`s read any.
