The days of a three-point turn on a driver’s test are long gone in Texas, but was on my first test. I have what was a “standard” size car in those days (Prius) and I can generally do it in one, unless there are cars parked on both sides of the street.
I review building plans in a major US city often. Many of the projects demolish houses on lots and replace them with three separate units. The developers are required to show parking matrices. It is not uncommon to see the plans 8+ maneuvers to get in and out of one’s parking space/garage. Oh, and these units are going for $450k+ a unit.

I don’t know of anyone who takes more than 3 points to make a turn like that UNLESS the space is very narrow.

That’s what happens when you don’t have power steering.
