I have read that the original quote (Leo Durocher?) was more like “Nice guys can also finish last”. A whole different meaning.

I think it is a nice touch that Will shows us that Wallace is self – aware of his nature and that he has made it as a choice. Perhaps he will rub off on Amelia. :-)

Our playground equipment was set in pillows of asphalt that stood 8 or 10 inches out of the ground. I always figured they must have been even with the ground once. Yea, it hurt to trip over them. We learned to be careful about that.
