You can buy my home, Spud! But… you’d be jumping out of the lobster boat and into the ocean…We’ve had grown men contractors go down into our crawl space and come back up, scared little boys. The spiders aren’t as big as they’ve got in Australia but they’re big enough that even the cats won’t touch ‘em.
There is nothing like walking up to your front door and having a huge tarantula looking back at you. Ya gotta love living in Las Vegas, where scorpions hide in the sofa cushions. Bit my daughter on the arm.
I mean, I’m arachnophobic myself, Spud, but that wouldn’t mean I’d up and move out every time I saw one, because let’s look at it logically: if I did that, I’d likely be moving into a different house multiple times a year, if not even more frequently depending on the average spider population of a given area—it’d just be more practical to deal with the spider in the long run.
In Spud’s defense – there is never “just one spider”. There may be only one spider that you see! However, sometimes one should go on the offensive – Nair works well. Particularly if you add fire.

Yes, Spud. And spiders are friends! I would understand this with the ants.

The Suburban Ceiling Spiders are the worst. You never know when they might decide to drop on your head.

Who knew that spiders could say boo

I’d be more concerned about a dirty seagull in my house than a spider. Just saying.

You’ll have to go through Wallace and Amelia if you want to sell this house.

A very serious arachnophobia problem does Spud have. Though, it’s not really a big spider but it did say boo…..

Video game eyes on Wallace and the seagull. BTW does the seagull have a name? Can we have a contest?

Don’t forget to leave a note for your parents, Spud, so they’ll know where to strangle you.

If it was just one spider -then I’d agree with Wallace. But a talking spider that is not afraid of humans? Time to worry!

Siders go after bugs not you Spud. They are friends who build silk cathedrals to their food.
