Cool teacher…..I’m too lazy to look up her name in prior strips….god bless teachers, my mom was one even while raising 5 kids of her own.

Boy do I wish I went to that school. I just can’t picture Sister Rose Vincent EVER doing this!

Will Henry reaches into his bottomless bag o’ inspiration and draws out a riotous tableau of kiddos pantomiming a monster.

No, it wasn’t that easy… but it was clearly a labor of love.

It reminds me of a 16th century painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder called Netherlandish Proverbs aka The Topsy-Turvy World.

It depicts a scene in which humans, animals, and objects, portray Dutch-language proverbs and idioms.

It’s worth a look. The Wikipedia article is a fun way into a fun puzzle picture.

A most excellent teacher.

The two kids outside the room looking in: “Either I’m jealous, or I’m really glad I have PE this hour.”

It could almost be an Orff Schulwerk class . .

“One last teensy detail, folks: does anyone have a flamethrower? Never mind, we’ll budget some cool special effects…”

I wouldn’t be at all surprised at all to learn that they are accurately positioned to realize Will’s vision. Kudos once again, Mr. Henry!

Best teacher award!! With a 9 & 14yr old their has been a change in kids education for the better.

Great teamwork

That’s REAL teamwork, REAL teaching AND a little envy from a couple outsiders……

I first thought Wallace was taking a picture but then realized he was framing the effect with his fingers- Wallace is too in the moment for photography!

Wallace is directing. The Title: It takes many hands to make a dragon.

I’ll bet no one ever skips Mrs. Macintosh’s class. You don’t want to miss what might happen there.

I think it is particularly awesome that you see the kids outside with their nose against the windows looking in to see what is going on.

I’m particularly thrilled at the seagull’s inclusion in this one.

What can happen when you have a classroom with less than twenty students in it.

(I counted 16 heads, not including Mrs. Macintosh.)
