Henry the Seagull knew what was coming and flew off in panel 2.

It is easier to destroy than to create and many have the urge to do just that. Our problems are mostly that without thinking about it the crowning achievement of humanity is the Type 1 changes we have made allowing the Earth to heat instead of cooling.
