I admit, I don’t get today’s comic. I don’t understand what happens in the second panel, nor what Mom is referring to in the last panel. Maybe Will Henry could pop in and explain?
And if, when we were teenagers, we had something in our pocket that was a combination TV, music player, game machine, and library, and could contact all of our friends with it – we wouldn’t have used it much at all, would we?
OK: I got it. Dad poses a riddle: what is he when he texts while he walks and bashes into things? Answer: Wallace’s generation. Mom saw, and loved the performance. (And, dad doesn’t have a phone in hand while he does this.)
For the old people: Wallace is technically beneath the generation that has the phones lik e that. His dad hasn’t realized there’s been multiple generations between him and Wallace.

Mom. Not sure if she’s happy to get an “ILU” text occasionally, or if she’s videoing dad for the viral views.

You’re not wrong Dad. Hunching over and being on your phone is bad for your neck and back.

The last panel hides a Dad joke (bad pun), it’s very “apparent” right?

How many people Wallace’s age could text with fishing gloves?
