I remember in “the boondocks” when a character offered to help a little old lady with her groceries. While she wasn’t looking he took off with them. Grandpa didn’t reprimand the kid, either, instead he ate the stolen food! Thats when I stopped reading the boondocks.

I’ve never cared for surprises. Even good ones are rather stressful. I suspect I have a borderline/shadow Asperger’s condition.
