I once bought a ceramic cat posed in the lotus position as post-hipster irony. Don’t know why, but I felt obliged to point out to the clerk at the register that I knew this wasn’t “fine art” – it was meant to be a joke. Should have just shut up and paid for it.
I’ll hold the boss lady’s purse anytime she wants me to. I am secure in the fact that I’m a man. And anyone else could just look at me—-6’3", bearded, and north of 300lbs. I don’t think anyone would argue the point.
