I had a great Uncle that worked with nitro years ago in the oil fields of southeast Ohio. They think he died in the storage shed explosion.

Gotta be careful to know what you’re dealing with before you decide to play with it.

Many many moons ago there was a story in the “Life in These United States” section of Reader’s Digest about a woman noticing that her grandson & his boisterous friends suddenly started being very VERY quiet in the house. When she asked him what was up, he replied that he’d found out about grandpa keeping nitroglycerin pills in his pocket & the kids didn’t want grandpa to explode.

Meanwhile, grandma & grandpa were enjoying the peace & quiet. Don’t argue with what works…

My mother switched to(cheaper) margarine in 1959. I hated it and stopped eating toast and mashed potatoes. A couple decades later I married and never bought fake butter, again. I love butter. As Julia Child said, “Everything tastes better with BUTTER”.

Fear not, Rod – Has Bung ever dropped anything he was juggling while being tanked up to the rim?

(As soon as he’ll start to sober up, on the other hand…)
