I recently commented on the 1950s TV show “The Adventures of Robin Hood” starring Richard Greene. Someone replied that the Sheriff had been played by Paul Eddington and I replied that Paul Eddington played Will Scarlet. I was then told that Eddington could have played both parts. He didn’t as all sources I have found say that the Sheriff was played by Alan Wheatley.
