Does the ADD have something to do with attention disabilities?

Or maybe the mower is electric—solar powered!

Forget ADD, I’d rather have an Emo lawn - one that cuts itself…

Yea, but he hasn’t stopped mowing and gone onto something else after the first few yards of mowing. Random patterns in the yard doesn’t necessarily indicate ADD.

An ADD person can be distracted by something else while still continuing the activity. Many different kinds of ADD personalities. I thought this was a pretty funny cartoon so I shared it with a friend of mine who has ADD.

Maybe he ment to cut the lawn that way. That’s how I would cut it. Very Artistic… I wouldn’t be suprised if it said, “The king is a fink” once you studied the design.

@petepop I can find plenty to laugh at with my own case of ADD. I know I am distracted by shiny things, and the kid probably had the same problem.

Anyone who gets offended by the ADD joke needs to get a life. We all have problems of one kind or another, but one of the best ways to deal with what life deals out to us is laugh at it. I have friends with attention deficits who laugh at their foibles; obsessive-compulsive friends who realize how silly their behaviors are even though they can’t help them; blond friends who tell more blond jokes than all my other friends combined, etc., etc. Not to mention that I love to joke about my one-legged status. So get over it, those of you who are hypersensitive, unless you care to learn to joke at your own hypersensitivity!

One legged or not does not give you the carte blanche to make fun of people.

Why isn’t the horse helping?? I certainly use my horse to help me cut my yard. I let her in the yard several hours a day in the spring and summer.

It is very politically incorrect and I love it. We spend way too much time and effort in the US trying to be politically correct and pandering ever sub group. We have become a country of victims - everyone has some sort of disability and needs some sort of help.

We have a guy at work who has ADD but refuses to take his meds and thus is very unproductive. Yet nothing can be done or said because he has a disability.

This same person is completing his master’s degree and he had special concessions (extra time, open book vs closed, separate room)v the whole way through. I can see special help through HS and maybe even undergrad but graduate school???? I think that is a bit too much

Ah but someone who doesn’t know the definition of “cum” could be offended and thus we would no longer be politically correct.

I unfortunately only graduated magna. RPI sets summa at 3.9 and I only had a 3.89. I went all the way through to a PhD in Mechanical Engineering there and had the same GPA the whole time
