In crisis, prison is not so bad place to be … you have food, roof over head, you are protected against mob, if some riots erupt and taxpayers are paying it all … :)))
Sadly, no/ It is not odd. Ask at any western prison and you will find that there are people so unable to cope with the outside world, for one reason or another, that they prefer to be in prison. Some even commit petty crimes to get back in.
Walmart is not such a great place to shop, wanted items are missing and dropped.Is that why so many people commit crimes to get food/room and board at taxpayers expense. Locally our county is going to charge pernight room and board.

I would think that would rather be a homless person cold and lonely and half starved, than in any prison with a horney cell mates named Bubba!
