let’s all get on the bandwagon for lead-free bullets!that way, when the bullet pieces the flesh, there’s no lead poisoning

This cartoon often mixes modern conveniences with the medieval area. I think it is funny. If I remember once someone had a cell phone,TV, radio and a car. I love it .

In stories I’ve read from the alleged time period, they drink strong spirits and bite on a folded leather strap, or many layers of linen.

The parts have to evolve separately before they can come together. Apparently, bullets evolved as something hard, but not hard enough to break your teeth, for biting on.

Probably the “bullet” was actually shot from a sling… lead “bullets” were cast for slings all the way back in Roman times. (I’m sure that cartoonists never take liberty with historical facts.)
