These wiz jokes always seem so silly. Why can’t he just eliminate the fly by itself.

Also this line reminds me of a line from the Honeymooners. Ralph decides to remove the handles of a dresser drawer to help in making a costume for a Racoon’s party. When Alice tells him that they might need to open that drawer, Ralph says that access to anything in the drawer can wait till tomorrow. Shortly thereafter Ralph wants to get the flashlight to use as a sort of weapon to go with his spaceman suit. When he asks Alice where it is, she replies it is with the things that can wait till tomorrow.
