It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Girl Scouts sell cookies this way. Now, their parents bring order sheets to work and try to get their coworkers to buy some. Or they set up tables outside grocery stores with the parents hovering.Yes, you want to keep the kids safe, but it’s a shame we no longer feel secure about letting them go door to door.

Bring out the heavy guns if a vacuum salesman comes in the neighborhood.

In our neighborhood, the Girls Scouts still come to the door offering cookies, and the Boy Scouts offering popcorn..Sometimes, we enjoy cookies with our popcorn…
