yah, parents won’t let their kids do anything unsupervised, for fear of that dreaded child snatcher. which is why we have an epidemic of childhood obesity.___________________________________
There is also the epidemic of parents who DO let their kids out unsupervised being reported to Child and Family Services for neglect. I read a story about a mother who let her kids play IN THEIR OWN BACK YARD, where she could see them from the kitchen window…and she was reported. There was the other family reported for letting their children walk 1/2-block to a playground by themselves.
I say let him play all the golf he wants. That way he won’t be in the office dictating. He can invite congress to play along and maybe things will not get screwed up more than they are now.
Absolutely right James. Many small narrow minds don’t seem to comprehend that playing golf provides opportunity for useful discussion on matters of concern & policy.
Golf is actually an activity foisted on us by space aliens. It is so dull that it lulls watchers into a coma, and participants fall into a trance-like sleep walking state. Even when microphones are present, anyone ‘announcing’ the results of a golf swing has to whisper.-Nothing of any importance is discussed during a golf game because everyone is snoring…
@ptlover“Darth Cheney had an energy meeting while Vice President, hear anything about that?”.ALL the time.Just like I heard about Eisenhower’s golfing, Kennedy’s pretensions and conquests and emulations of 007, Johnson’s uncouthness, Nixon’s yo yoing, Ford’s clumsiness, Carter’s rabid rabbits, Reagan’s Star Wars fantasies, GHWBush’s lip reading, Clinton’s sexual harassment, GWBush’s little pony and people who think being born in Hawai’i isn’t being born in America.

@richardelguru No, Obama seems to prize golf over all other concerns, so I think jackhs106 has a point.
