How about the true villains: Bush & Chaney, who knew about it months in advance. Or the building complex owner, who collected on an insurance policy for Acts of War, despite the fact that insurors nearly always exempt such damage claims…and the insurance company didn’t even fight the Billion$$ paid out. Ever meet an insurer who paid without question? How about all those short sales profits on airline stocks? And why did the government pay families of those killed? They NEVER pay the victoms of terrorist or war! Except for 9/11….

Not only did 9/11 make us realize the true heroes. but only 15 years to make them monsters

The point Mario500, is to remember. There are always sad events but today marks the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in US history with nearly 3000 people killed. What we remember today is the brave men and women police officers and firefighters who rushed into danger determined to save others even at the cost of their own lives. We must never forget their sacrifice, just as we must never forget why the attack happened. Islamic radicals then and now are still the greatest threat to our way of life.

Those who forget history will surely repeat it.

True to some extent; 9/11 need not be a day devoted to tragedy to the exclusion of all else..However, taking time to remember is a very human characteristic to help us cope with life — reflection is valuable to help us remember what is important (and that we sometimes forget)..Yes, tragedies have happened on every day of the year. Just as people have been born on every calendar day of the year. But I still spend a few minutes recognizing the birthdays of those close to me. It’s just as appropriate to remember to remember events such as Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the day my mother died from pneumonia.

Thank you for being one of the very few who even though about remembering & honoring those involved on 9-11.

This is sad. Whose idea was to create this cartoon? Was it due to the calendar date being associated with a series of events that occurred upon it back in the year 2001? If so, then there should be cartoons like this one every day since terrible events had occurred on every calendar date. Every new day should be treated like a new day and not be dominated by dark events associated with its date.
