Question. Imagine your castle is being taken over by the Hun’s, and you deliver a million water balloons for you and them. When the last balloon has been thrown, do you have a new alliance?
One of the minor flaws of the antiballistic missile plan of the sixties was that the only way to block them was to set off a nuke when you got within a few miles of them, having no better accuracy.
Add to that the teensy little fact that the same missile could deliver the same explosive to an enemy location so you couldn’t be sure if it were defensive or offensive.

The medieval times would’ve saved a lot of lives if they had thought of that. Of course, they would need killer aiming to put out those fires.

Patriot water balloons? Or was that the Iron Dome equivalent? Depleted uranium water balloons for greater impact?

Water balloons filled with used water, if you know what I mean.
That way if you miss an arrow, you might hit an enemy.

This produced instability rather than stability.
