Dogs are somewhat omnivorous – like humans. One of the reasons we (humans and dogs) get along so well. Cats, on the other hand, are completely carnivorous.
Is it not possible that Henry, seeing the dog est the grass, tried to eat some himself and vomits like the dog does. The assumption that Henry ate the dog may not be viable at all.
