Arachnophobia is an intense fear of spiders. Many fears seems reasonable. We all try to avoid things that make us feel uncomfortable. The difference between a fear and a phobia is that a phobia is an intense and irrational fear toward one or more things or situations.

Well, that ought to take care of any critters in the box.

But Whiz loves spiders, I see him taking them outside whenever wifey screams that one is in the house.

Which is worse: hairy spiders or untangling that crap?

Should’ve zapped it then, Wiz.

I thought it might be an untangle spell.

Two caterpillars are escaping a spider…

They climb up a branch and get to the edge, but realize they are now trapped.

“Hold on tight!” says the first caterpillar, and he quickly chews through the branch. It snaps and they begin to fall, but he grabs two protruding twigs and steers the branch through the air with grace and finesse.

“That’s amazing!” says the second caterpillar. “How in the world are you doing that?!”

This the second day in a row that all my comment, (and just mine), have been deleted from Wizard of Id. And the strip Shoe. But not elsewhere. This is happening around 7:00 am PST. And since this is only being done on just two strips. I believe I’m be “canceled” by someone (s?), and not GoGomics.

Please leave the “Cancel-Culture” elsewhere. If you don’t like my comment, please say so. Or just not read them. But other people do seem to like them. I try hard not to offend anyone. And have clean puns. But with free speech, someone is bound to be offended.

Based on the condition of that box, I would gather that new Christmas lighting is in order. The LED’s are now DED’s.

Wizard just didn’t want to put up lights ….. he should be able to just ZAP up some lights for decorations ……. :)

At first I thought he was using a spell to untangle the lights. I think it would have been funnier.

Aw, poor spider who kept the bugs that kept the bugs out that you really wanted kept out of the box. :(
