Heated oil would not be viscous even if it was -100° outside

Today is Saint George’s Day and is widely celebrated here in England. As I have just mentioned on Andy Capp, Saint George’s Day is celebrated in many countries including the largely Muslim countries of Libya and Palestine. Let us all pray for peace in Palestine.

Saint George was a Macedonian soldier who served under the Roman Empire but was imprisone, tortured and finally executed when he converted to Christianity and refused to worship the Roman gods. Many stories were later invented about him including the famous one about him slaying a dragon to rescue a princess. As noted before, Saint George is a popular figure in Palestine so a cult around him developed among the Crusaders from France and England. He became a popular figure in both countries and was adapted as Patron Saint of England.

Well if you had read the manual you would know that the specified oil weight is 0W-20.

Definitely no motor oil was used back then. More likely it was olive oil or animal fat.

The whole point of multiviscosity oil is that it has lower viscocity at lower temperatures.
