For if they had been interested in learning, they might have learned better than to work for Rita or MMM.

As it is now, it’s just another example of the Kyle Miller years where Rita turned from an apathetic boss to a dominatrix.

Yet, the problem is if you flipped the script…

Why? Interns are male and female. If two guys were talking, and the intern were still Herbie, and he employees were clowns like Jay and Ed and Roy, where would be the sexism?

How is it sexist at all? The joke is at the expense of the staff – which is a mixed group. It doesn’t matter who is making the joke, because the target is not all male or all female.

It’s neither racist not sexist. Some people just never seem to put down their magnifying glass and give the search for hidden clues a rest. Hey! Here’s a scoop! This gag is also NOT about drugs. Wow.

Well, at least Herbie has a break from being furniture for the moment. Go get yourself a coffee, Herbie, before it’s time to be a desk again.

It seems to say “Attention, Ladies and Gentlemen! Listen to me know more than you do!”

What’s really bad is that Rita didn’t even notice the snide remark.

It’s all about a bunch of folks in an office (many of whom don’t take any task seriously) – in other words, like REAL LIFE!

There’s nothing to indicate that they’re referring specifically to male interns, so I don’t think so.
