Come on Carolina, Help a buddy out. All women need is to SEE you out with Jay and maybe they might want to go out with him too……OR….Maybe you’ll have a good time and something may happen.
Dating services sure didn’t work for me. I learned that they can also open you to gold diggers looking for a score. Fortunately I’m a skeptic and don’t trust easily- so I bailed when it became evident that something wasn’t quite right. Then I sent a friend request on Facebook to someone I hadn’t seen in years- just wondered if she’d even remember me. Three years later, we’re here together.
That’s funny! I just started to join a site last night, but I just pasted together my “statement” from a few they had in suggestions (edited to be truthful for me). I don’t see anyone nearly my age on there (and I’m not a cougar). I want to find someone I can just be comfortable with (besides what I went there for). I am so outspoken that I can seem to be a kook, but I’m really a nice person. I just get too enthusiastic and go overboard with stuff.
It did work for a friend, who met her husband on Match.com. They have two kids, so I’m happy for them. But I found the lady I love without those sites.
Dating sites didn’t work for me, either. Then again, neither has anything else. So, I am trying to be happy as a single person and convince myself that there is someone out there for me.

Yeah, I’ve had that happen too. I forget the exact wording, but it amounted to: “we can only do so much, you got to give us SOMETHING to work with”

Jay,
Remember this:
It is better to BE alone,Than to WISH that you were!
(I was ten years a Maintainence Man in a Shelter for Abused Women – believe me, I KNOW!)

Maybe Kathy can find somebody for Jay. Well, maybe not. She might not want an enemy for life.

I’ve tried match.com. They didn’t reject me, but I haven’t found anyone either.
