I didn’t think I would l like my husband with a beard, but it turned out softer than I thought and I actually liked it (he still has it – 15 years later)
I just think beards are rather unsanitary; I use hand-held showers so not to wet hair if I bathe in shower.I have always preferred to wash hair less than once a week, but bathe daily and a beard -Since it’s part of the face it should be washed at least once a day. I wonder how many ARE?
I knw that due to browser differences etc, we all see these pages differently, but has anyone else noticed a change this week where GoComics randomly makes LINKS from words and phrases in comments to ad sites? (I see them highlighted and underlined just as it would if I used code to cause it)
Grew a beard just to be ornery once. My wife love it because I grow a natural double goatee. She used to play with it and make it part in the middle just because it would.
The last place I worked we had to pass a gas mask test. Couldn’t do it with a beard, so the beard came off so I could pass the test. Then the beard came back. Logical??
Some men look good with beards, others do not. Some women like beards… but many do not. One of my brothers-in-law looks funny without at least a mustache, but he shaved it off because my sister did not like his facial hair.

@russell5419… then again, if it looks wild and crazy like Ed’s, not so much. It has to be cared for, at a minimum. My opinion only, of course.

It was my wife who asked me tostada rowing a beard; prior to then I was clean-shaven.

Problem is when the skin cancer hits the nose. No amount of beard would protect my hubby from that if he’d grown one.
