because without it, carriers can blackmail content providers, even though they are already billing their costumers, and probably without agreeing on the kind of content the costumers could or could not watch, so basically, the content allowed is only the decision of the carriers, even if they do not provide content
Net neutrality = another layer of government interference, advocated by people who distrust big business but have no problems with massive government. BTW, the FCC was created on the premise of limited airwave bandwidth. They shouldn’t have anything to do with the Internet.
I wish that we could keep the government out of just about everything; Let them try first to get the few things they do (like highway system and the post office somewhere near satisfactory). I don’t even want to talk about the way they mess with the military. Now, no more politics for me (I have usually declared a party, but there is none anymore and they are all a bunch of selfish fools).
