Wrong calculation. Send her to the Bermudas in the hope that she will love it and stay there, and make sure the plane flies over the triangle just in case.

Some MILs are pretty bossy with the first grand child. They know everything and insist you do it their way, Others do what you want them to do and bend over backwards to do it. Mine was wonderful and very helpful. She knew when to leave .

can you also hack the system and waive the fees? or, if flying by spirit, get rid of all the fees.

My husband preferred my mother to his (as did I). :o) Since my mom lived closer, it worked out well.

My parents received most of the well-meaning, you’re-doing-it-all-wrong advice from aunts and uncles who never had children.

Both of our parents had the idea that as long as their child was happy, they chose the right spouse. So they were awesome to us.

Some of my sibling’s spouses had a mean mother-in-law (2 spouses straightened out and one got replaced so all current ones love their mother-in-law) and my sister-in-law’s husband had mean in-laws as well.
