The one that bothered me when I was a kid was Wonder Bread- the bread that ‘builds strong bodies in twelve ways.’ They would show a group of kids running and playing, and then one- we presume the only one who ate Wonder Bread- stops, faces the camera, and grows up before our eyes. I didn’t like that idea one bit. I enjoyed childhood. I didn’t want it to pass me by in two seconds because of my sandwich.
