The Borg were in Enterprise. That show comes before The Original Series in the timeline. So the Borg existed in The Original Series too. Granted they didn’t make an appearance in The Original Series though.
We were having software licensing issues with a state agency. They had also taken 1 copy of windows and put it on all of their pcs. Microsoft and the BSA rode through them like the 4 Horsemen of the Apocolypse.
Microsoft… I returned one of their printers. I didn’t like the way they set up the ink situation, plus, the promised output was vastly exaggerated. I returned the thing and am still getting invoices for ink and messages that the ‘connection was lost’. Apparently I’m supposed to have it connected to the internet at all times! They are not getting the message, several in fact. I lost count how many times I told them.
Microsoft would be better, the tractor beam application would most likely pop up a notice saying it seemed to be unresponsive, and asking you, who has much less information than them about their tractor beam application if it should be allowed to continue running (crashing?)
Norm does make a pretty good Data. Jay’s dream could simply humor him and then put him out of the way somewhere (down in Engineering with Sal would be perfect).

Aw, let Norman be Data, already! At least he’s not trying to be Q. Jay’s having enough problems with the Borg.
