Good old Melbourne Swift. His story were really good. My favorite is the one where Andromeda gets involved in a spy story and asks Dana and Kathy for help in saving war orphans. The scene where Rita hits the German spy with the bottle is worthy of Milton Caniff.

Great stuff as always. I’ve often wondered tho, if these aren’t really one of Ed’s dreams when he is napping.

1942 Rita might have an omnipresent tall glass of water.

I’d still like to see Scott publish the whole series of “throwback” WD comics, but I do realize (and as Scott has responded) that there really aren’t enough of them to justify publication in a separate book. But I can hope (and keep suggesting it)! Further suggestion: draw more of them… I think we’d all love to see that! I’d especially like to see more inspired by Milton Caniff, Mort Walker, and Jimmy Hatlo.
