The whole “war on Christmas” thing was a remarkably paltry way of trying to cast shade on “liberals”. Christmas does have a lot to answer for (the commercialization, the flagrantly mythological falsity of the whole premise, and so on), but trying to demonize “Happy Holidays” and “Season’s Greetings” as seasonal buzzkill is both stupid and ignorant. Both expressions of good will have been around, and common, since before T*cker Carlson was born.
The precepts of any successful religion are ideas for a good society. Reread the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, The Lord’s Prayer and etc. People took them long ago and assigned them as handed down by God. (Perhaps they were…) / The church (synagogue) etc. were first often times to organize schools, hospitals, etc., long before government ever did.

Is it “but” or “buy”?Either way, religion alone doesn’t do much of anything.

Oh, those televangilistas know how to get the money for the nice cars, etc.
Always and only make promises that you don’t have to deliver on. And blame the believer for the lack of delivery…

Sadly the greatest gift of all, the very reason Christmas is CHRISTmas, is the one most left off the ‘open me first’ list.

That is one empty shopping center at Christmastime. But I always like the WD characters out in the wild.
