Finally the boss himself got terribly sick from one of the folks he’d bullied to come in, so he fired the poor guy. Unfortunately for the boss, a new company had recently opened and was hiring – more than half of our workforce quit to join the other company. Our company floundered, and corporate shut us down.
Our old boss tried to get a job at the new company, but due to his reputation they wouldn’t hire him. Last I heard, he now mows yards for a living.
