I’m not a rabbi nor that kind of priest, but I have been a missionary where I almost got attacked by dogs when about approach the door past the gate.
Of course there was one mission expierence: my companion and I were walking down a road, got followed by two dogs (not chasing us). By about mid-point a third dog chased those dogs away. After going back from the end of the road, two other dogs followed us. Again, at mid-point, that same third dog from before chased THOSE two dogs away. Kind of funny and lucky, huh?
