Bring back paper bags. The recyclable bag hoax is just that.But it did stimulate the recyclable bag industry overseas.

I still think the old paper bags would hold more per bag.

some of our grocery stores (ontario canada) put the boxes the inventory comes in, to the front of the store and the shopper uses those boxes to carry their grocery home in.

The store I go to offers customers the choice of paper or plastic-as it should.

Where are they going to put their stuff now a paper bag?

They do that here, too. At Trader Joe’s anyway.

Of course, stores really do that to increase their profits. But hey, those CEOs do need bigger bonuses!!
