As far as I can tell, the true meaning of Christmas has nothing to do with any gifts at all. Or trees or wreaths or jingle bells….Not that I don’t enjoy them.
Of course the real true meaning of X-mas is how Christianity co-opted a pagan holiday in order to win converts! Even those that believe acknowledge that the birth being celebrated did not occur near the winter solstice but rather months earlier.
