This is actually pretty funny. I’ve successfully pilled cats, dogs, and horses – none of whom wanted the blasted meds. I can’t wait to see where all this is leading…
Funny, I’ve had three dogs ALL OF WHOM spit out their meds! I must be doing something wrong – and yes, I’ve crushed it into peanut butter and he still knows there is something wrong with it and won’t eat it. I can relate to the dilemma here.
When my cat had to have meds, it was no problem when she wasn’t feeling well, but as she got better, I had to sneak up on her. She got all her meds finished right on schedule.
If it’s a dog, you hold them tight, no matter how big, it might take 2 people, cram it down their throat, gently but firmly. With a cat, you wrap it in a blanket so it can’t escape, and do the same! You may have an injury afterwards, but if they need the pill, they need the pill! LOL!

It’s a great way to get extra treats. But smash up the pill inside the PB, for goodness sake.

Put it in a pill pocket or learn how to shove it down his throat. And why are you using a new pill every time? Just use the one he spit out!

Try grinding it up with a mortar and pestle and sprinkling it on his food. No pill-spitting there.
