My daughter complains because I don’t follow recipes but my dinners are still delicious.
My sister does this, and many times it tastes pretty good.
And with all the food that falls from the chopsticks the dog is happier as well. BTW, off the lap counts if you don’t get to it first.
It’s why my wife makes the meatloaf. Her quantities for oatmeal and ketchup are “until it feels right.”
