I can see why you might not like that guy. However, you should have just met him for coffee or at most a lunch. If there’s no chemistry, the conversation will wane rather quickly and once the meal or whatever is over, you can both go back to your respective homes. However, maybe some chemistry will occur. It’s only lunch…..
You can always learn. One understands that in societies in which “made marriage” is the rule, many (perhaps most) married couples have deep bonds of affection, at least after a while. And lots of kids to prove it. After all, we don’t get to choose our sibling and parents etc., but in the great majority of cases there’s an abundance of affection.
