In the metaphor of politics: We struggle thru the corn maze of life and come out intact at the other end, none the worse for the wear. In Trumpville, it would be blown down host paste, left to rot and dry, never to be heard of again.
In a class at our church we were studying the last book in the Bible, Revelations. In one of the sessions, our pastor asked the class if we could think of any examples of Armageddon.
I responded by saying, “I’m pretty sure we will see one after the 2016 national elections!”
Thank you for a great example of a comic strip that can delve into the world of politics and make a joke that isn’t nasty or only funny if you’re on one side of the political spectrum. A rare talent these days. Last major public figure who could do that and do it well was Johnny Carson. He could nip and tuck candidates and politicians day in and day out and make EVERYONE laugh. Those truly were the days!

Better Trumpville than obamaville or hillaryville. But I’d prefer Cruzville.

Are we in the Twilight Zone? Was this cartoon published a year-and-a-half too early? Maybe it’s a warning and there’s still time to change the future.

OK, Donald. It’s September now. The August Silly Season is over. Time to pack it in and let some serious politicians fight it out.

As long as he gets rid of the career politicians, we can stand him. After all we have put up with Obama.
